Two things. One, I’m posting this using an app on my mobile device! Exciting.

Second, I am moving the first week of March. So, Sur-Real Photography will no longer operate out of Arizona… but will now operate from Utah!! This takes effect March 1st.

There’s still a week and a day to take advantage of the current promotion. Don’t wait too long.

Thank you for your support, business, and comments.
Jeremy :)

A week ago I had the pleasure of photographing a model from the valley. This was my first “official” model session… and it went surprisingly well. We started in Tempe, along Mill Ave. Then went down towards the Tempe Town Lake to take a few shots. Then drove up to Old Town Scottsdale for a few more. All in all, it was a good session. I had fun and hope the model did also.

Here are a couple of the shots from the session:

Thanks again!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here, so figured I’d put this one random photo up. :)

This photo was taken on the Peralta Trail that I hiked yesterday (Wednesday). If you haven’t hiked this trail, I really do recommend it. The hike is fairly easy, and it’s only 3-4 miles… round trip. So it’s a real nice day hike. The best times to hike it are between October and May. It was a bit warm yesterday while hiking. But it does cool down once you get to the saddle (Fremont Saddle ["The Top"]). So you will want a sweatshirt or something long sleeved.

Oh… and Happy New Year!! (7 days late)

Since it’s not snowing here yet… I want it to be fall again.

A couple months ago I went out with a fellow photographer from here in Payson. We went up on top of the Mogollon Rim in search of some awesome fall colors! As we turned a corner on the 300 road, to our left was nothing but beautiful reds, oranges, yellows, and still some greens. It was amazing! We got excited (well, at least I did) and found a spot to stop the car.

Once we got down there… it definitely looked better from the road… haha! But it was still beautiful down there. I took a few shots, but only came back with one real keeper. Here’s that one shot.

Out of the entire fall season this year (which really wasn’t that good), I only got one keeper. Pretty depressing actually.

Hopefully next year will bring better colors for all of us to enjoy. :)
