Sur-Real Photography is pleased to be doing a Portrait Session Raffle for the “Benefit the Habans” promotion.

100% of these donations will be going towards the “Jami Haban to Benefit Kameron Haban” fund. For more information on that, please click here.

For every $10 that you donate, you will be entered into a raffle for a FREE portrait session. So if you donate $20, you get two (2) “tickets” into the raffle, etc. The portrait sessions that are available are, Senior Portraits ($200 value), Engagement Portraits ($250 value), or a Family Portraits ($300 value) (all will include one (1) 11×14 print).

The Photo Raffle is over! Thank you everyone who participated and donated.

On Wednesday the 19th of August, 2009 this world lost a amazing Husband, Father, Son, Brother, and Friend. On August 19th, Kameron Haban was taken from us by Lupus.

Kameron was checked into the hospital on the 4th of July. There he laid fighting for his life, fighting with all his might, mind, and strength. Kameron was confined to the I.C.U. room for over a month, letting modern machines control his life. The whole time Kameron was in the hospital his wife, my sister, sat by his side wishing, hoping, praying that he would recover so he could get home to his 2 year old little boy. On August 8th I had the wonderful pleasure of taking the lovely Reghan Flake’s senior portraits. After finally meeting up with them, after a emergency rescue, we headed up the the beautiful Horton Creek area for an amazing setting.

I had fun taking my first senior portraits, and enjoyed working with Reghan and her mom. After shooting for a couple hours, it got too dark… so we had to pack it up and hike back down to the car.
